Make a Drum Lampshade workshop
Light up your home!
More dates to follow, £45 per person
Looking for the perfect shade for a table lamp base or a ceiling fitting? Learn how to create your very own bespoke drum lampshade in this fun workshop. You will make and take home your very own lampshade at the end of the class!
In this workshop you will learn how to construct a beautiful hand-rolled edged 30cm-diameter drum lampshade in your choice of fabric, which can then be hung from the ceiling as a pendant shade or attached to a table lamp base. We will supply the wire base, drum, and additional materials needed - all we need from you is your chosen fabric. The fabric should measure 30cm x 115cm. Please be aware that the fabric will be used horizontally (i.e. landscape) so if the print is directional, make sure that you have enough fabric for it to work across in this way as opposed to vertically. Your choice of fabric should ideally be cotton. Other fabrics (heavy twill, stretchy jersey, sheer fabrics) will be tricky to work with.
If you have any questions, please call your tutor Natalia on +44 (0)7776 380960.
