Natalia Price-Cabrera, author of Handmade Lampshades (published November 2015 by GMC Publications Ltd) and author and curator of The Wallpaper Colouring Book (published June 2015 by Octopus). Natalia's upstyling projects have been featured in several magazine articles and Upstyle Your Furniture, by Stephanie Jones (published by RotoVision).
Natalia is the inspiration behind Mols & Tati-Lois, purveyor of stunning hand-tailored lampshades, upstyled furniture, and visual daily diarist (www.facebook.com/MolsTatiLois). Fashioning beautiful hand-tailored soft-sided and drum lampshades out of vintage and contemporary designer fabrics using traditional techniques, and beautiful upstyled pieces of furniture, Natalia creates truly unique pieces that will be cherished additions to any living space. Her statement lampshades and pieces of furniture have been commissioned by boutique retail outlets around the South East of England and as far afield as Australia and the USA.

Last month I went to England to take my first workshop in soft sided lampshade making.
Natalia is a warm spirited individual with a relaxing, patient teaching style. She creates colourful, inspiring, artful lampshades and shares her extensive knowledge, ideas and experience with great enthusiasm.
It was a very enjoyable, fully packed, hands on day, learning 3 different styles of shades. I came away from the course with 2 finished, and the 3rd partially done shade, for me to finish at home. I have a good understanding and a solid foundation of which to build the skills required for this unique craft.
I look forward to practicing my new skills on the softer side of lampshade making.
